I want to be able to tell the story about how I came out of the theater as a “Belieber”, but sadly this movie didn’t bring me to that life crisis. The only thing I felt after I left was, “I think I was just lied to for a solid hour and a half.”

"Believe" was released Christmas day to theaters, and proved to be a movie for only die-hard Bieber fans to enjoy.

Internet sensation Justin Bieber released his second documentary movie “Believe” on Christmas day. Because nothing says “Christmas miracle” more than another movie about the 19-year old and how he “keeps it humble”.

“Believe” takes a different spin on the first released documentary, “Never Say Never”, where we are shown more of Bieber’s rise to fame. The whole plot of this movie is: “Yeah, I’m famous, but let me prove to you that I’m not a jerk like the media says.”

Within the duration of Justin Bieber’s most recent film “Believe”, there are flashbacks to Bieber’s last three concerts on tour where he performs ten of his most popular songs. The whole concert experience is what I think makes the movie unique, and is in my opinion the best part of the movie because you get to see a glimpse what makes him so talented as a performer and a person, even though he lip syncs more than half of his songs.

Although, I think the most heartwarming moment in this whole movie is when we meet 6-year old Avalanna, a cancer patient who calls herself “Mrs. Bieber”. Once Justin goes to visit her, he becomes attached and even takes her onstage during one of his shows. The bond that these two grow is truly touching and a bit of a tear-jerker.

We are also taken through a lot of the behind the scenes action, such as hiring the dancers that join him on his tour, the warm ups before he performs, and even the certain hardships he has to face. But to be honest, the only thing that this movie really proved to me was that Bieber can not form sentences. Whenever he’s being interviewed and trying to talk about something really serious and possibly life changing, he speaks as if he has the intellect of a 3rd grader.

All in all, this movie was meant for Justin Bieber fans only. For his “Beliebers” to go through and feel was Bieber does on tour. It was meant to show that even though he is known all around the world, that he knows how to stay humble. Personally, I feel as if this movie was just created so that he could go against the media and prove that he’s really a nice guy. But there a line between honesty and just trying way too hard, and he sadly, Bieber has crossed it. Score: 5/10
