On Saturday, Oct. 5, students at Steinbrenner showed up to a school clean up event hosted by the school’s PTSA. From 9 a.m. to noon, students participated in the clean up by picking up trash around campus and picking up recyclables as well. The club’s head, Kristy Carew, is the AP Environmental teacher and she shares a passion for the cause.

“I was so happy to see that we had over 90 people from school there . . . that younger generation getting involved. Good turn out. We did a good job,” said Kristy Carew, club head for the Environmental club.

Students at Steinbrenner who attended the event are dedicated to keeping their school clean and making an impact in the community. These fellow students succeed in showing their peers a few things about being a warrior.
