Volleyball
Steinbrenner’s volleyball team was busy this week and played against several opponents. At the beginning of the week, the Lady Warriors lost to Sickles, Calvary Christian, and the Academy at the Lakes. However, the Lady Warriors were able to break their losing streak by beating Mitchell and Bloomingdale on Sep. 1. After their jammed packed week, the Lady Warriors have a record of 5-3. Their next game is against a district opponent, Alonso Ravens.
Football
After a win against the Freedom Patriots, the Steinbrenner Warriors were defeated by the Jefferson Dragons on Aug. 31 at Jefferson. The score was 14-6. Next week, the Warriors will play against Tampa football powerhouse, Jesuit Tigers at Jesuit. As of now, their record is 1-1.
Golf
On Aug. 28, the Steinbrenner Lady Warriors came home with a win against the Wiregrass Ranch Bulls. Mckenzie Kane, Alexis Castillo, Posie Farrelly, Alyssa Mckee, and Jackie Figueredo all performed notably and allowed for Warriors to win with the score of 170-192.
