Big County Preps reported last week that the Warriors’ multi-position star was receiving plenty of interest from the Hatters and planned to commit in the near future, but wanted to make sure all of his options were sorted out.

Jones had 709 all-purpose yards for the Warriors this year, including a school record 99 yard kickoff return for a touchdown against Chamberlain in November.

He will be Steinbrenner’s third player to compete at the next level, joining 2010-11 graduates Alex Bombino (LeGrange) and Tobi Antigha (Presbyterian).
