In the season two premiere, Archie rushes his father, Fred Andrews to the hospital in shock and fearful that he may lose his father, however, Veronica, Betty, and Jughead join forces in order to comfort Archie.

The arrival of Hiram Lodge has been much anticipated after his attempts to undermine Fred Andrews and his company, especially after his flirtation with Hermione Lodge.

Now, the question is: who has been running around town assaulting people near and dear to Archie Andrews? As the episode came to a close we saw the murder of Miss Grundy, his ex-guitar teacher, and ex-lover, proving that the vendetta is for Archie rather than his father.

Archie’s promise to protect his father may have unforeseen consequences in the future especially since the cereal killer holds a grudge against Archie.

Throughout the season premiere, we saw glimpses of the what is in store for the “Riverdale” squad, beginning with their high school graduation and ending with the wedding of Veronica and Archie. Though whether they will all make it to the wedding or whether someone be lost is still up for question, because the deceased members of the Riverdale were all in attendance.

Despite ridicule from her mother, Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones have fallen in love, but time will only tell if their relationship endure or go up in flames.

Has Jughead Jones gone in too deep with the South Side Serpents? To find the assailant of Fred Andrews, Jughead asked for assistance from Riverdale’s most notorious gang, the South Side Serpents, and when he returned home a suspect, who had been tortured was in his living room.

Another main character on the show, Cheryl Blossoms, has jumped off the deep end. In the season finale of season one, she set Thornhill, the Blossoms’ luxurios estate aflame.

The next episode should contain startling facts about who has been targeting Archie’s loved ones, and which character may be killed next, Jughead, Betty, or Veronica?
