October 4 was Steinbrenner varsity girls volleyball senior night, where seniors and captains Mia Clark (4) and Jacqui Ramsey (12) celebrated their high school volleyball careers. Before the match began, their coach Amanda Krnjaich spoke kindly of them and their history in Steinbrenner as the seniors parents escorted them across the court and to their teammates who greeted them with hugs, flowers, and gift bags.

In a short interview before the match, Ramsey and Clark agreed that their favorite part of being on the volleyball team was connecting and spending time with the other girls on the team. Both captains agreed that they would most likely continue volleyball as an intramural sport in college if they decided to continue playing. However, they would like to focus on academics once they get into college, though volleyball will still be a part of their lives.

Ramsey went on to finish the match with nine kills and Clarke with fourteen digs and two aces.

The Warriors played an intense match against Gaither. The first set was a bit rough during the middle, but the Warriors fought hard and won 25-13. Jumping in the lead during the second set, the girls showed off their talent when the score was 12-7, and the ball continued back and forth over the net. The stalemate ended with a strong hit and a point for Steinbrenner. The third set was wrapped up relatively quickly as Gaither seemed to loose their spirit, while the Warriors only became more determined to win. They quickly ended the set with a score of 25-11. The match was an overwhelming victory for the Warriors at 3-0 and a memorable night for seniors Clark and Ramsey.
