The Steinbrenner Junior Varsity Volleyball game won by a tremendous amount against Robinson high school, winning the first game 25-19 and the second game 25-21. With plenty of great future varsity athletes, the team was sure to win.

Tensions got especially high during the second game, having Robinson be a very strong team, but not against our JV volleyball team.

It was a tension-filled night for our varsity volleyball girls. And though they played their hardest, evident in every spike and serve, Robinson got the best of them.

On Monday, August 29th, our volleyball warriors competed against Robinson High School in our gym. Unfortunately, despite a valiant and strong effort from our girls and an defensively aggressive night, they lost 3 out of 4 sets.

When asked what the team could’ve done to improve the outcome of their game, junior Mia Clark stated, “Maybe if we just had better defense in this game, the outcome would’ve been different.”

The game was undoubtedly exciting, however. With a crowd that wasn’t going home until the night was over, our Warriors had strong support from the school. There’s no doubt that this season in volleyball, is going to be an electrifying one.
