Get Hard is all that its previews and trailers presenteda satirical film that plays lightly on the idea of racial stereotyping. Though it will never reach the level of becoming a “comedy classic,” the film was full of entertainment and laughs for everyone. Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart play off one another perfectly. The film is about a rich, white guy seeking the help of a streetwise, black man to prepare him for what prison has to offer. Even though this film is based around prison rape gags and stereotypes that are intended to be humorous, the movie has an underlying story of a bond that has formed throughout the film between these two opposing characters. The film was less than I had expected, but it still gave the laughs that are always promised with Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart.
