LUTZ – Hillsborough County recognized the school’s Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) Wednesday at its PTSA Awards for many different noteworthy accomplishments.

Senior Cary Anne Bame received the all around outstanding senior award.

The PTSA also received the Superintendent Membership Award for increasing membership, the Acorn Award for the majority of the faculty being PTSA members and the Arts in Education award for the school’s tape figures, among other awards.

The association was also a finalist for the Family Involvement Award, Outstanding Program Award, Person of the Year Award and Principal of the Year Award.

  1. Can someone else ever get acknowledged for their achievements? Honestly, it’s sad for the students (seniors in this case) to put in an effort, but because his/or her parents aren’t chairmen of a board, it’s left unnoticed. Congrats to Ms. Bame, but it’s not right.
