While some students spent their presidents day weekend shopping for sales, twenty students from the Model United Nations Club (MUN) traveled to Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
The conference started Feb. 16 and continued to the 19th. It was the 49th session of the North American Model United Nations.
At the conference, the delegates debated about international relations and other worldly issues acting as a mock United Nations.
“It was a great experience where I met ton of culturally diverse people and learned a lot about international relations,” said junior and MUN delegate Kara O’Connor.
