During exam week, Principal Brenda Grasso addressed the school and incentivized the exam process by announcing that, for each exam the students attained the highest average in the district, one minute would be taken off the end of the day.

The students ended up with the highest scores in the district in nine different exams, and in accordance with  Grasso’s promise, will be released 9 minutes early next Monday, Feb. 25. Seniors will be released 14 minutes early. The administration believes this reward sparked motivation in students. The time will all be shaved off of 8th period.
